Terms and Conditions.
The agreement between you and MyBehalf when you create an account and let us make calls on your behalf.
Last updated June 2026. MyBehalf is operated by D3V Services Limited, Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using MyBehalf you agree to these terms. If you are using MyBehalf for an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to accept on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What MyBehalf does
MyBehalf places phone calls on your behalf using a voice agent. You describe a task, we attempt the call, and we report the outcome. We do our best to complete each task, but we cannot guarantee that a business will answer, agree, or honour any request.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You agree to give accurate details, including a working phone number, because we use it to reach you for decisions and handover. You must be at least eighteen years old to hold an account.
Authorising calls on your behalf
When you submit a task you authorise MyBehalf to call the business you name and to speak on your behalf within the limits you set. You confirm that the request is lawful, that any details you share about another person are provided with their consent, and that you have the right to act for anyone you add as a family member.
What you may share, and what we disclose
The agent only ever discloses the minimal details you approve for each task. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide. Do not submit tasks that are unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or intended to mislead the person on the call.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use MyBehalf for spam, scams, threats, illegal activity, emergency services, debt collection, or any call that would breach the rights of the person answering. We may pause or close an account that is used in these ways.
Recordings
Calls may be recorded so we can give you an accurate transcript, summary, and outcome, and so we can support and improve the service. By submitting a task you consent to recording on your side of the call, and you accept that the laws on recording vary by place and by who is on the line.
Wallet, pricing, and billing
Calls are charged at the published rate per connected minute, rounded up, and drawn from your prepaid wallet. You pay only for time that connects. Wallet top ups and any memberships are processed by our payment provider. Top ups are generally non refundable once used, except where the law requires otherwise.
Memberships
Membership tiers set how your tasks are prioritised. Paid tiers renew on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can change or cancel a tier at any time, and the change takes effect from the next billing period.
Third party services
MyBehalf relies on third parties for calling, payments, calendars, messaging, and security. Your use of those connections is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for outages or actions of a third party, though we will always try to keep the service running smoothly.
Availability and changes
We may update, pause, or change features to keep the service safe and reliable. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms. Continuing to use MyBehalf after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Liability
MyBehalf is provided with reasonable care, but to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the outcome of any call, booking, or decision made through the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or other laws that cannot be excluded.
Ending your use
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. On closure we retain only the minimal records we are required to keep for billing and legal reasons.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction over any dispute.
