MyBehalf
Privacy and consent

The agent only ever sees what you allow.

Consent is a first class part of MyBehalf, not an afterthought. Here is exactly how your information is handled, and every service we connect to on your behalf.

Our principles

How your data is handled.

01

Minimal disclosure, by design

The agent is never handed your full profile. For each task we assemble a package containing only the fields you have approved, and nothing else. If a call does not need your date of birth, it never sees it.

02

Explicit, granular consent

You decide what may be disclosed, such as your name, your phone number, allergies, or dietary needs. Toggle each one as a default, and override it per task. Consent can be granted or revoked at any time, and every change is recorded.

03

Consent for family members

When you act for a family member, their details are a managed profile with consent recorded against it. The same minimal disclosure rules apply to their information.

04

Calls are recorded, with consent

Calls may be recorded so we can give you an accurate transcript, summary, and outcome. Recordings and transcripts are personal data. You can review them, and request deletion while we retain only the minimal billing record needed for accounting.

05

Truthful, auditable billing

You are billed on the phone line verified connected duration, never an estimate. Every call, decision, tool action, and charge is logged against the task, so the history always reconciles.

06

You stay in control

You can answer decisions, take over a live call, cancel a task, revoke consent, or delete call records. A person is always in the loop. The agent works for you, within the bounds you set.

Services we connect to

Every integration, and what it sees.

MyBehalf relies on a small set of trusted providers to place calls, take payments, sync your calendar, send you updates, and keep accounts safe. We share only what each one needs to do its job, and only when you have connected it.

Google and Apple

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email to create or match your account. We never receive your password, and we do not post anything on your behalf.

Calendars

Google, Apple, and Outlook

When you connect a calendar, we read your free and busy times to suggest options, and we add events for successful bookings. You choose which calendar we write to, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Messaging

WhatsApp and SMS

We send decisions, updates, and one time codes to your phone over WhatsApp first, with a fallback to text message. Your number is used to reach you and is never sold or shared for marketing.

Email

Transactional email

We send account, verification, and receipt emails through an email delivery provider. These are service messages tied to your account and your tasks.

Push

Mobile notifications

If you use the mobile app, a device token lets us push a decision prompt to your phone in the moment a call needs you. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

Payments

Windcave

Wallet top ups and memberships are processed by Windcave, a payment provider. Your card details are handled by Windcave and are never stored on our servers. We keep only the record of the charge.

Security

reCAPTCHA

We use reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots on sign up and sensitive forms. It assesses the request to protect your account and the service from abuse.

Calling

Voice and phone network

Calls travel over a private phone line and a voice platform that turns the conversation into speech and back. The connected duration of the call is the source of truth for your billing.

Each provider handles your data under its own privacy policy. We connect a service only when you ask us to, we share only the minimum it needs, and you can disconnect any integration from your settings at any time.
